Life, Death, and the Fragile Beauty In Between

Set in a field of dark poppies under a grey sky and crescent moon, this painting explores the space between life and death, memory and release. The lone figure, holding a poppy in one hand and pruning shears in the other, becomes a quiet symbol of transition—tending to what must be remembered, and gently letting go of what must fade. It’s a meditation on grief, healing, and the fragile beauty that blooms in between.
